I'm doing a track using the jazz bebop bass 190 and want to use shots in the first and last chorus but ignore them in the middle chorus, so i unchecked allow rests and allow pushes in middle chorus boxes but the bass is still playing them. The drums are ok and don't do the shots but the bass won't work.
Any ideas what i'm doing wrong or is it not possible?

Make sure you didn't Freeze the tracks in that songfile. If you did, unFreeze them after making changes and then hit Play to regenerate the tracks with those changes. Of course, if that works, you should Save the song that way. Frozen tracks are indicated by the asterisk snowflake being inserted before the trackname.

No i didn't freeze it. I'll try using a different real track to see if its just that particular one.

It might be that you have one corrupted songfile there, or it might be that you've discovered a bug.
Firat thing I always try whenever BiaB doesn't do something it is supposed to do is a Reboot of my machine. Sometimes long sessions get things out of order or something.
If the reboot doesn't bring joy, the next thing I try is Options->Return to Factory Settings.
Just for the record, you have visited the PGMusic updates page and downloaded and installed the latest Patch Update for your version, correct? If not, you should, it might clear up the problem, but maybe only in a New songfile
