I've been trying to create a track for a very old Christmas carol that Eddy Arnold and Jenny Lou Carson wrote/recorded around 1950-51. In the original version, there is a gorgeous acoustic guitar arpeggio with a hold and then Eddy starts to sing. The opening phrase is a short series of arpeggiated chords without establishing a regular tempo for about 8 bars, more or less! It seems likely there is a tip/technique somewhere in BIAB that would serve my need, but the precise "how-to" has so far escaped my notice! Wondering if any of the included riffs night help Dave ? Country guitar ? Set the tempo you need and export as a wav. Open in our wav editor and edit.

I've discovered via trial-and-error methods that if I create a basic 3,4,5 or 6 note chord in the BIAB notation editor, then open the "Piano Roll" window, I can improve the pseudo-arpeggio by slightly varying the STARTING point of each note, where by default all the notes in a chord created via notation have the exact same starting point.
It "feels" like there could be some way to create such "strums" without the piano roll editor, but so far nothing appears to support such a "feeling"!
Fortunately, this song only has a few bars where the strum is required...so off I go.

You can insert the required chords at the required time in the bars. And then, do a manual edit in Staff Roll Notation mode. R-click on the note. Modify the time to delay the note according your requirements. Apply that for each note of the chord. Don't forget to use guitar voicing for a guitar track. When all is OK for you, don't forget to freeze the track. that is what I use for guitar rasguedo for example.

Use of a MIDI keyboard, MIDI guitar, or other appropriate MIDI input instrument can allow you to simply Record such to Melody or Soloist track very quickly. What you play is what you get.
