Hi to everyone,
I would like to upgrade from my BIAB 2011.5 Ultra pak to 2012 but only the program, not any RealTraks. I see where I can upgrate to the 2012 Pro version but not to the 2012 Ultra version. Thanks in advance for your comments on this.

Bert, I had the 2011.5 Plus pak. Upgraded to the Ultra plus pak for $139 and purchased the $25.00 Bonus pak. Such a buy, considering this would normally be close to $500 with bonus pak. This gives you the whole ballgame, sans Training video's and And some lessons. Am retired, and gotta watch where the $$$ goes, but no regrets at all. Only learning to be a "realtrack" person, but do not discount them. Several reasons, fantastic sound, pro stuff, and also "Rendering" to Wav file for great sounds is "instant gratification". I am not into the guitar side of things a lot, but do love guitar music. Some of the realtracks are by this young man, blew me away when found his site. http://www.brentmason.com/ Does this guy have "credentials" or not ! Good luck !

Thanks for the input Seeker. I'm still a little confused but I'll try to sort things out. I'm also retired and have to watch the $$$, but I do want to get the best bang for my $$$.

You should be able to just get the upgraded program and use your existing Realtracks.
I'd use live chat or email support (or even call them) to get the best info, but if it were me I'd get the pro pak and install over existing, expecting it to work.
Especially if you run the program from C: drive and leave realtracks on external drive.. just update the program on C: drive.
To be safe I make a full backup of my existing collection before proceeding, as I have the extra drive space available.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

Thanks RHARV, I took your advice and purchased the ProPak.....I'm downloading it presently. I can always start picking up aluminum cans to help pay for it.....just kidding....PG truly has a unique product and I've had tons of fun with it already. Thanks again for your input. I did go to live chat and Kent sorted things out for me.

They always do.. If I recall one year they even added a new DVD option for just certain upgrades .. because people asked for it. Great company and always trying to be fair with customers.
