I use BIAB 2009.5 and my Yamaha P90 is connected via a USB MIDI device.
I can swear that this only happened after I upgraded to V2012, and the problem was still there when I reverted to V2009.5.
When I play back something that I recorded, the volume of the piano is somewhat lower. It's noticeable. I want it to be the same volume.
Is that related to my temporary upgrade to 2012?
Is there some setting I can change to fix this?

misc thoughts:
does the piano have its own volume control by any chance? (not software volume control...I'm talking about a physical volume slider or knob or other control on the piano itself) ...If so it may have been turned down somewhere along the way
Does your piano haver a volume pedal that may have been left at a position that would lower the volume?
Is the Yamaha playing back the midi for other instruments too, or just the piano?
If not, compare the volume settings for each

Al,
Will over at PG Support is helping me with a similar issue, i.e., all of my old files prior to 2011.5 (before the mixer was introduced) played quite a few decibels louder than they do since the introduction of the mixer with 2011.5.
I'll keep you posted as to Will's findings, but in the meantime you might want to contact him at PG Support and let him know what is happening o your end just to be sure.

Thanks for the help.
Never mind, I have found the solution. The volume for the melody was set to something below 127. When I set it to 127, it is the same volume when I play it (record it), and play it back.
