If I double-click another BB-file the sound is turned on again. I have more songs with this feature. The following links lead to Spanish Flea in the key of C and to Spanish Flea in the key of A. Both use the same style (ZZETHNIC.STY). Of course I don't change anything in that Window. I just click OK. Other songs with this behavior have other styles, so this is not embedded in ZZETHNIC. But iirc it only happened with MIDI styles. Is there another workaround or a permanent fix other than making a new file and entering chords and melody? Can oanyone copy with the above files? Best regards. Mac Veteran M Joined: May 2000 Posts: 38,502 Chesapeake, Virginia USA	Hi Guido, There is possibly some rogue command lurking inside the songfile(s) that are exhibiting this undesirable behavior. Try taking a look at the songfile using the MIDI Monitor when this happens, before opening and resetting the synth. If that is not an option for you, find a place on the web for storage and upload one or more of the offending songfiles to that place, then post the URLs here on this thread and others can then download the file and examine it at their end, maybe get to the bottom of this alot faster. --Mac PGmusic FAQs, Tutorials and Updates! click here You must be Audiominds. www.audiominds.com

But I discovered the midi volume had somehow been turned off and the panning had been set to extreme left -Mono. I corrected this with the mixer, which was added in BIAB 2010 or 2011.
