I saw a style I like but it was in 3/4 and I'd like to use it in 4/4 --- so is there any way I can change it? Also, is it possible to change the one MIDI track within a given style into a REAL BAND track within the BIAB program or do you have to use the Real Band program? (Seems like it'd be extremely difficult to go from BIAB to Real Tracks and back again. Maybe I've got the concept wrong?

First question, just try it. Some styles work well, others don't.
Second question, I think you mean, change a track from MIDI to a RealTrack. Yes, this can be done in either BIAB or RealBand, and does not require any back-and-forth.

RealBand can open Band in a Box files (.sgu, .mgu, etc.) but Band in a Box cannot open RealBand files.
Because of that, Io like to first save a copy of my BB songfile in a special folder I've created for the purpose, before opening that song in RealBand. That is because any changes saved inside RealBand will create a .seq type of file, it can be used in RealBand from then on, but cannot be taken back and opened in BiaB. But the saved BB version of the song can, and I keep that copy just in case.

I heard your Brazilian Wish clips. Sounds great!
I have two MP3's on CDBaby (upon request of YouTube
users) and they're good, but seasoned sound engineers
would know there's a lot to be done before they're in
good shape.

One thing that is very helpful here is to learn the language. I know it sound silly, but we work a ton of accronyms. BiaB, PTPA, RB, RT, RD, just to name the obvious. RealBand or RB is a program, Teh tracks are called RealTRacks, or RealDrums. RTs, or RDs, specifically.

To use the 3/4 style in 4/4 time, I would suggest turning all the bars to 2/4 time, then it will generate the song using the first 2 bars of the 3/4 style. Otherwise you're going to have a blank 4th beat of the bar.

Thanks Mac. I'm keeping my BIAB files on my desktop.
I just looked inside the folder and found .sgu and .mgu and .mgx files and have no idea what the extensions mean, but I'm still at the "playing around with it" stage.
I did pull up a file yesterday and nothing was inside (nothing!) even though it had a name, so I have no idea what happened but fortunately, the previous "save" worked. Naming them song1a song1b etc. helps -- at least so far, but obviously won't in the future.

At the bottom of your post, where it says Post Extras, click on the second from left, the finger with the ribbon.
The instructions also tell you that you may need to modify your profile settings. You do that in My Home & Settings, the second from left choice at the top of this page.

Or you can click "Who Is Online?" at the top of the page. The first name will be you, listed as "Checking who's online". Click on your name, and you'll go to a profile page that has "Show all user's posts" at the bottom. Click on that, and you'll be able to check out your last 200 comments.
