Hello All, I receive this error code when trying to open a BIAB type file in REALBAND:
Cannot create file c:\realband\data\bboutput.txt. Access is denied at: 00422646.
Can anyone help with this before I call on PGMUSIC?
Thanks for any and all help. For the record I have re-installed the latest updates for RB & BIAB.

Are you running RB from the external or internal drive?
The program seems to be looking to the system C: drive for RealBand folder; does it exist?
Other things I'd check:
Are Realtracks installed in the folder referenced in Options-Preferences?
If launching the program from an icon, make sure the icon points to the correct drive. It is possible to have RB run from different drives.
Probably a few other things to check.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

Thanks for the help rharv......I had previously edited my own post but didn't seem to get posted. I found that 'bboutput.txt' file was a 'hidden file'....Anyway I changed the file attributes and then RB was able to write to the file and now we have joy.....NOW, to find out what program or whatever is changing some file attributes?????? Thanks again for your reply.
