Today I freed up space on my hard drive. I didn't think I deleted anything related to BIAB, but now the lead-in clicks don't happen. The numbers appear, but there are no clicks.
If I use the Microsoft GS wavetable SW synth, then the clicks are there. But if I use the MIDI Mapper or USB Device MIDI, there are no clicks.
Note that my Yamaha P90 doesn't do drum sounds.
Also, not that this has always worked fine (clicks and drums through computer speakers, piano and bass through keyboard), until today.
Please help me get these clicks back!

If you are using RealDrums - the drum part is green, the click will be an audio (not Midi). Thus it should go through your computer speakers along with the drums.
If you hear the drums but no click, go into Opt}Preferences|Count-in and make sure Audible lead-in is checked. If you don't hear drums through your speakers, make sure the volume is turned up.
If all else fails, do a factory reset under Opt|Return to factory settings

Thanks, I think I've figured it out. I recently installed the a new sound system (Microsoft Digital Sound System DS80), and I found that if I unplug the speakers, the click is there in the laptop speakers.
If I plug the speakers back in, the click works again. If I switch to another app and back, the clicks are gone until I unplug and replug the speakers.
If the clicks are gone, and I start the tune again, they come back. But if I wait a while they might be gone again.
Very weird. Any ideas?

Sounds like the soundcard driver is being turned off by windows when the other app runs (or ends) and plugging it in is 'kicking it back on' from the jack being connected (and sensed). Sound accurate?
Is the correct soundcard selected in the audio drivers area for BiaB?
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

Yes, the sound is fine until I plug the sound system into the headphone/speakers jack.
It seems that this sound system shuts down until it gets some sound, and the metronome clicks aren't enough to turn it on.
