Anyone know the logic behind the Inserted note defaults having the Duration % is set to 80%?
I know you can change it, but was wondering why the default value of 80% was the chosen preferred option.
I'm also interested in what settings do others prefer for their Insertion Note Defaults?

I found that 80% sounded a little "choppy" to me, so I extended the duration to 95% as most of the music I use is slower, such as ballads, religious music, etc. If you want rock or some other types, 80% might be preferred. It's your choice.

Hi Bob,
Yes, I did the same (similar music).
However, I assumed that the PG team did things for a reason and I was wondering what that might be regarding the 80%, as it seemed a bit shortish to me.

Very likely is a compromise setting that covers both kinds.
It is another tribute to the pgmusic mindset that we are given the option to customize that as you guys are doing.
