Hi,
I am using the Generate and play a solo function. All goes well with the solo until the end when it stops abrubtly. Is there a way to stretch? the end on one note for instance and fade it out?

Depends a lot on which isntrument Soloist you use, and whether or not it is a RealTrack part or a MIDI part. MIDI might be a tad easier to manually stretch the last note.
This also may depend upon the type of Ending chosen, whether a default 2-bar Ending or selecting the option to end early.
Sometimes I have found that I can make neat endings happen by telling the Soloist to generate the solo for a bar or two longer than the actual song goes, but have found this to not always work with some or more of the soloists or styles. I think that is because the program wasn't really written with such in mind.
There is an entry in the BiaB FAQs which tells how to make a song end on a held note, may be what you are looking for here, at least worth investigating as if it won't work for whatever you've got in mind, it is good to know for other occasions.
For those who are targeting a Recording as vs a Performance using only BiaB, you migh find joy by transferring the project over to RealBand where you have a bit more Editing facility available for each track. This, too, may depend a lot on if the solo is a Realtrack or not, as extending a note using MIDI editing is a lot easier to do.

Mac,
Tried regenerating and also Humanize soloist in the Edit soloist menu.
Think that did it, but I'm not sure;)
