I love the fact that there are so many styles available and new ones coming out........
BUT - maybe I hate some of them (that some one else loves)
OR - more important - only a few will fit my particular song.
I would like to be able to do multiple sorts of the styles.
For example - If I want - an even feel, 8 beat, 85 BPM, Latin Pop
I could click (primary-sort) on the style picker header to sort the styles by EV - SW, or what ever is most important to me
then maybe R-click (second-sort) 8 - 16
Now I should have a list that's - EV 8 - EV 16 - SW 8 - SW 16
Then a third sort by tempo, etc
In Real Band, you can do one sort when picking a real instrument for a track, but not in the Style Picker.
"Change Prototype Style" doesn't really help much because it takes too long to find a prototype.
Even one sort would help - two would be great - and three would be wonderful.

And 4 would bring us down to just 2 or 3 to audition. Great idea

This has been suggested by a lot of people down the years in the main forum, by beta testers and in the wishlists, most recently when the real drums dialog box was upgraded, and the real tracks dialog box introduced to do exactly what you suggest. If I recall, Peter suggested that to do this with the style picker would require a good deal of hard coding work, rather than simply re-presenting the choices in the sort of spreadsheet format folks have suggested. Perhaps this will be one of the "more than 50" improvements for BAIB 2009!!!
