Hey all- just recently bought 2013 BIAB and I am trying to figure it out- I have used DAW software for a while and this is a bit different so I am not use to all the bells and whistles yet. Quick question- when I used Audio Chord wizard- it seems to be bringing my songs in at a higher tempo than the song is in - Question is- I have learned how to change one measure Tempo- if I change the tempo in the tempo box- it only changes the current measure... is there anyway to select the whole song as one and change the tempo to the whole song... Thanks and look forward to hearing and learning from some of yall. Rick Courtney Beachbilly www.reverbnation.com/rickcourtneysongs

1st of all welcome to the forum.
You should be able to input the tempo for the entire song just by clicking on the little tempo box just to the right of the key signature icon. Have you tried this?

Hey Danny and thanks for the response- I have tried that- it only changes the first measure-- the song should be 120 BPM but when it imports it in ACW- it sets it to 154 which is way too fast- so when I change the tempo to 120- it starts at 120 and sounds correct -- If I do it to each box it accepts that change but that is time consuming - it would seem there should be a way to select all and change...

You can use Tap of one of the function keys along with the Play function inside the ACW to tell it where the first beat of each measure is as the song plays.
Then, when moving it to BB, be sure to tell it that you want to include the Tempo Map when it asks.
The BB FAQs have info on how to use the ACW. There are also some videos as well that may have been included with your BB purchase.

Welcome to the forum BB,
To get a song in sync tempo-wise, you do the following:
1. Click on bar 1 by clicking the set to bar one button. 2. When the time line is on any other bar, click on that bar, by pressing the bar line button, or F5 key.
For example, after setting bar 1, then click a bar line on bar 2. That will instantly adjust the tempos of all bars. If you want to get a perfect tempo map, you would play the whole song, and hit f5 on every bar line. But usually the tempo is solid in a song and you only need to hit the F5 key a few times,
Have Fun! Peter Gannon PG Music Inc.

I, for one, wasn't aware that the Bar Line button (F5) had any effect on tempo.
But I can tell you that manually indicating a few bar lines at the beginning of a song does make the ACW much more accurate.
