Bonjour,
Nouveau sur ce forum. J'envisage l'achat de BIAB mac. J'ai une petite interrogation :
- la qualité des real tracks : j'ai passé beaucoup de temps à écouter les démos , qui sonnent ...comme sur des démos. Mais quelle est la réelle qualité, lorsque l'arrangeur, en suivant la ligne d'accord entrée par l'utilisateur, transpose dans une tonalité un peu éloigné de la tonalité originale (celle de l'enregistrement) : peut-on entendre une dégradation du son, comme par exemple sur les apple loops?
- Quelle différence de qualité entre les versions "normales" et la version audiophile? J'ai vu que la version audiophile comportaient des fichiers non-compressés,cela voudrait dire que les fichiers sont compressés sur les autres versions. Comment sont-il compressés et peut-on les dé-compresser, pour par exemple les utiliser et les éditer dans logic audio?

La qualité des realtracks n'est JAMAIS dégradée quelle que soit ta tonalité ; en effet, chaque RT a été enregistrée dans toutes les tonalités, et jamais on entend ce qui peut laisser penser à un changement de hauteur par programme. Ce que tu obtiendras sonnera comme ce que tu entends sur les démos ; si tu fais bien ton travail évidemment.
Je n'ai pas acquis la version audiophile parce que j'ai cru comprendre qu'elle n'offrait en plus des autres que des outils qui ne me passionnaient pas. La différence ne se situe donc pas du tout au niveau de la qualité des fichiers livrés. Les RT sont livrées en fichiers.wma et la livraison peut être énorme si tu les achètes toutes.
Tout ce que génère BB peut être facilement exporté et édité en fichiers audio dans un séquenceur quelconque.
Fais le saut, je suis certain que tu ne seras pas déçu !!!

Bonjour popino, et bienvenue sur le forum.
Carolan est exact - les realtracks sont toujours excellent. Si tu regards le forum "User Showcase" il y a beaucoup des chansons qui sont composé de realtracks.
Comme carolan a dit deja, je suis certain que tu ne seras pas déçu.
Comme d'habitude, je fais mes excuses pour mon francais.

Tu es sur de ça ? Je croyais que la version audiophile fournissait des fichiers wav plutôt que des wma ?
D'ailleurs, le nombre de realtracks fourni est le même dans la version ultrapluspak que dans la version audiophile; le disque dur livré avec le premier est de 160 Go contre 1 To pour l'audiophile.

Sûr, non... je me suis fié en fait à une vieille intervention d'un internaute qui disait à peu près ça... et comme les RT sont aussi nombreuses dans la version ultraplus, j'en ai conclu qu'il devait avoir raison.
Ca ne change pas vraiment le sens de ce que je répondais à popino, à savoir que les fichiers livrés ne sont pas compressés et sont d'une qualité remarquable.

Après vérification, la version Audiophile propose effectivement tous les fichiers en wav en les qualifiant de "non compressés", alors que les autres versions comportent des fichiers au format wma.
Est-ce que quelqu'un a pu comparer des RT dans chacun de ces 2 formats ? Ce serait intéressant de savoir s'il y a une différence sensible...

Non, le format wma est un format de fichier compressé. Je suis d'accord avec toi pour dire qu'ils sont de très bonne qualité... mais je n'ai pas de grosses exigences non plus

Le plus important pour moi est la qualité des real track dans la tonalité, et donc je suis rassuré par la réponse de Carolan et Rog.
En ce qui concerne la version audiophile, on verra plus tard, je vais d'abord tester .
D'après vos réponses ,les fichiers sont compressés en VMA, et j'ai lu en AAC pour Mac. Ce n'est donc pas du MP3, et tant mieux.
je vais donc faire le saut , je profite des prix du printemps pour faire un crossover depuis la version PC 2004 vers mac. par contre difficile à trouver en france, donc achat direct au Canada.
