Yes, it is definitely plug and play.
I'm using mine on my Linux system and it worked straight out of the box.

I'm on 7/64. I should be fine. Been meaning to ask you; Is there any money in Pandora? You've been with them long enough now, you would know. Do you have any interest in adding a trumpet track to an original "Island", steel drum tune? I think that would finalize the piece perfectly. You would have to work from the mp3. Don, thousandths of a cent for each streaming play take a very long time to accumulate into anything. And Pandora recently claimed they needed to pay musicians less than they are doing now. Despicable.

Hey, that was fun, Don. You wrote that? I love steel drums. I appreciate the invite but I don't think my contemporary Brazilian jazz style would work all that well here. And is a trumpet authentic to Jamaican music? Don't know. Maybe a nice acoustic guitar solo? That's what I would add if this were my track. But it's really very nice as-is.

Matt, I have been trying to create better-sounding steel drums. "Jamaican Nights" is the result of a lot of failures. Yes, I do think a muted trumpet would fit nicely, especially in the bridge. I hear brass used in many Caribbean tunes.
I'm using the vertical mouse and I notice a couple of mildly negative aspects. I'll give it a few days and see if I get more comfortable with it. If I can't use it I don't know what else to do.
