I have updated an older year of BIAB Audiophile HD to a newer year, with more Real Tracks. This will be a gigging HD so its ok to strip it down to just BIAB, as I have my newer HD as a backup. The old HD is filling up so to make room for the copy and paste of the newer RT, I am looking to delete folders to make room. Can the 101 Riffs & DragDrop folders all go or be emptied? I don't need Real Band with me on the gig. Any suggestions for folders that can go safely, and give me room?

Yes, it will work without those folders but you won't save much space by doing so. The Drag 'n Drop should normally be empty, unless you are using a DAW that does not delete those files as temporary, in which case you should clean it out yourself periodically.
Most of the 101 Riffs folders are not worth the effort, as they contain loads of .MGU files, but those are all tiny (except for the Solo and Trio Intros, which contain .WMA files).
The biggest saving of space by far will be to delete the RealTrack folders you will not use on your gig machine. For example, if you can delete all the Country, or all the Jazz Soloists; that sort of deletion. This is even more important if you have the audiophile version, or you uncompressed the RealTracks.

You might also consider picking up a larger hard drive and simply transferring your entire Audiophile drive contents to it.
1 Terabyte and larger USB drives are selling for astonishingly low prices.

Thanks Matt and Mac. I actually have a Glyph on the way, but this old HD is a good one ( and quiet ) so I'm putting it to work. I appreciate the tip on the DragDrop ( it got a lot in it) and the soloists folders ( I'm doing the melody and solo parts). That will help out big time!
