print gives me the option to print first chorus OR last chorus. How can you print out a lead sheet with an intro and an outro?
Thanks for any help...

This is the way I do it for leadsheets that have an Intro, repeated chorus and a 'Tag' (I assume this is your 'outro' but I would call it a Coda) :
I am also assuming you have your 'Notation Window Options' set up in the way you generally want to print.
In the Notation Sheet window, select the green button (Lead Sheet Window [Alt W]) second button from the left.
In the resulting Lead Sheet Window, first make sure the 'Fake Sheet Mode' box is ticked.
Select the 'Print' Button.
In the 'Print Options Window' set the 'Print Range' up as ' Whole Song' (i.e. select the circle).
Then, maybe adjust the 'Staves per Page' so that the leadsheet is all on one sheet of paper.
Check the layout with 'OK -Preview Graphics' button.
If satisfactory, select the 'Print Button' and in the resulting 'Print Options' window, select 'OK - Print'.
It took me a long time to learn that. I hope it works for you.

it printed out a sheet for all the choruses. I tried doing one chorus but it says that one chorus songs cannot have a tag.
I can add the tag measures but I was looking for a way to do this easily.
I'm back to having biab print what it can and then handwriting my instructions on it.

I have found that if I set the Chord Grid layout correctly that printouts are not a problem.
For Intros, I use the menu command to automatically create an Intro to any already laid out song, in there you can choose whether or not to have it generate a 4-bar, 8-bar Intro - but I often then change the chords manually to suit after invoking that. Doing it that way creates the Start of Chorus bar and also the Part Markers automatically.
Another way to make the Intro happen correctly is manual - use the Insert Bars command to insert a desired number of new and empty bars at the first bar. Then you have to change the "Song Starts At" block to where the actual song Chorus starts after the Intro and also may have to manually enter Part Markers to suit.
As for "Outtro" -- The TAG ENDING command is the easy way to go.

I'm back to having biab print what it can and then handwriting my instructions on it. You must have misunderstood the pre conditions or missed a step in the instructions because I know my method works every time. The important differences with this printing is that you do not use the 'Print Notation' button; you use the green button on the left which has a pair of notes on it i.e. The 'Leadsheet Window' button. In the Leadsheet Window, make absolutely sure the "Fake Sheet Mode" box is ticked! Then press the 'Print' button at the top of the Leadsheet Window and follow the rest of my instructions. I have produced thousands of leadsheets this way where I need the Tag to be shown. I will agree that it is nearly always necessary to hand print some of the instructions, especially when you want printouts in different keys and clefs, because the "Insert Section Text Event" does not cater for these variances. I usually hand print the instructions: "INTRO", "CHORUS" and "Last Chorus to Coda" & "CODA". I also bold up the Repeat signs at the beginning and end of the chorus.

well it works now kinda sorta except the tag is bleeding onto page 2 and lead sheet options -# of staves does not seem able to change that.
Thanks a lot.

John, I tried Graham's instructions......VERY careful with all the info. Set my staves number to 16. Result is a perfect print. Stick with it, the guys will find what's wrong! Regards, Joe G.
