Hi folks,
I am doing a little country song of my own in biab and just want to get that kick drum beat 2/4 I believe that you get with country music.
Just wondering if the 2/4 time signature in the edit menu might be better to use rather than 4/4 time, or is there no difference in sound, other than the 2/4 time will be spread over 2 bars compared to only one in 4/4 time?
Any tips as regards the drums appreciated. I am trying out the Nashville realdrums sounds.

What it sounds like really depends upon the chosen Style.
Depending on what you want to hear, auditioning the styles is rather important step IMO.
You may find a style that sounds better laid out in 4/4, even thought the target song is in 2/4, too.

Yes, Mac is right that you must audition each possibility. I don't think there is consistency here, but that's OK because it gives more flexibility to get the right sound. I know sometimes this causes me an extra step in producing a leadsheet, when something I would like to notate in 4/4 sounds better in BIAB as 2/4 or vice versa.
