although Reaper does support drag & drop, whenever you have an audio file such as a vocal, it does not transfer along with the other tracks when you transfer as a combol i've tried to transfer it manually (play the track in Biab while recording it in Reaper) NO LUCK is there a way transfer the audio file to Reaper ?

thanks

Try the Audio menu Render function and tell it to make separate audio tracks and save them.

The vocal recorded audio .wav file will be in the same folder as the song with the same title. Just drag and drop it over into Reaper.

BIAB – 2025, Reaper (current), i7-12700F Processor, 32GB DDR4-3200MHz RAM, 1TB WD Black NVMe SSD, 2TB WDC Blue SSD, 1TB WD Blue, 2 TB SK NVMe, 6 TB External, Motu Audio Express 6x6

BTW.:

Is there a decent way to synchronize BiaB with Reaper (or Cubase) to allow for both playing a song together (and thus allowing for recording the result as midi and/or audio tracks ?

Yep, called Realband
It doesn't 'sync' BiaB and another DAW, but it allows being able to use BiaB features in a DAW and record audio to your hearts content. Then rendering easily.

It might be the BiaB/DAW combo you were hoping for.
Included with BiaB so you probably already have it. Try it, you may like it.

Maybe I need to upgrade my BiaB 2007 to make see it...

Yes, you would likely need to upgrade.
I don't think it was included with that early of a version. Sorry, didn't realize your version was that old.

I agree with rharv. I don't think Drag 'n Drop came until a later version.
