Every now and then a quarter note triplet is not shown the correct way in the Regular notation mode (perhaps after humanizing with a swing feel), even in a triplet (jazz) based style.
Strangely enough it is still shown the correct way in the Editable Notation mode.
Is there a way to force a quarter note triplet to be shown as such, as this make reading so much easier?

Also, go to Support, FAQ, BIAB version, and look for the word triplet using Ctrl+F. There is a good explanation there.

I have checked the FAQ and it seem that in my case it cannot be done.
Support writes:
• Quarter note triplets will never display properly if they span beats 2 and 3 in any measure.
The song I have problems with (The melody line of a blues called Going to a Meeting by Pat Martino) has a quarter note triplet on beats 2 & 3 in the second bar (and again in the sixth bar).
So again I have to ask if somebody has found solution.

That's the way BIAB works.
The music will play / sound as a triplet but it won't print that way

So again I have to ask if somebody has found solution.
Whiteout. I will print the leadsheet and then use Whiteout and correct with pencil or pen manually. Then I stick it back into the scanner/printer and get an all-printed copy that disguises the whiteout thing fairly good. This is used to have a chart to hand to other musicians that won't give them the pat excuse of knocking the entire thing because one triplet is printed wrong. --Mac

Then of course, there is the other solution, to export MIDI into a notation program. Noel mentioned the free MuseScore, which reads BIAB song files directly. I use Encore. More expensive solutions include Sibelius, Notion, Finale. And someone here (John Ford?) likes Noteworthy Composer. So, you have lots of alternatives as workarounds.

You could always notate it: dotted 1/8 - sixteenth note tied to the next 1/8 note - then an 1/8 note. Not exact, but a work-around. Later, Ray
