Back in the early to mid '80s a band out of Victoria BC released a 45rpm record with the linked song on the A side. It was titled (She's Got) Another Boyfriend. I have long since lost the 45 but I had a taped copy which I've since digitized. Unfortunately I cannot remember the bands name and I want to be able to credit them when I try to do a cover. Can any of you help? I have tried every online site I can find that will look up lyrics or titles and they were of no help. I guess the song was too obscure. Anyway, thanks in advance. Paul, If you go to the PRO site for Canada https://www.socan.ca/jsp/en/mem/pubRepertoireSearch.jspand do a search several authors and one publisher come up for the search term "Another Boyfriend". Maybe it's one of them.

Thanks for the suggestion Josie. So far no luck. I'll keep trying of course, I really want to identify the band.

So the band was called 'Zipper'? Yep: Zipper. I heard them at an outdoor concert in Victoria's Beacon Hill park. They were really good so I bought the 45 right there. Thankfully I recorded it to cassette because I lost the 45 some time later.
