I am using BIAB 2013 and love it. One issue I am having - when I insert bars, to modify the form of a song, say between a bridge and an ending, I might insert 8 bars where the ending was, pushing the ending chords 8 bars further in the song. When I play back, the ending chords along with any holds and pushed I may have entered persist, and I hear the bars I entered overtop of what used to be the ending. I tried deleting the bars and re-enetering the chords again, and tried regenerating the song. Any ideas how I can get the old junk cleared out of those bars and have it play what I entered?

When Inserting Bars, pay attention to the Number Blocks to the right of the Songtitle Window Slot, as these will have to be changed to accommodate the numnber of bars for the chorus with the now added bars.

Cougarbob, welcome to the forum.
Another possibility: If you had frozen the track, it would explain what is happening. You must unfreeze a track when editing it (adding bars) or you will still hear the old version before the edit. You can see if a track is frozen by an asterisk next to the track name.

Actually - I think I figured it out. About the time this was happening, I was saving the files as WAVs for performance. When I moved the WAV files to another directory, the issue went away. I can only conclude that the two were playing at the same time. Thanks for the help!

Yes, very good diagnosis. If you have a .WAV file of the same name as the song, and in the same folder, you will hear both.

There is an option to turn off playing .wav files of the same name as the song - it is a global setting - so once set you won't have this issue again.
