Hi
the real tracks are being played by the computer and not my audiobox usb what do i have to do to get them played by together with the biab tracks thanks for any hgelp

I had the same problem were when i auditioned a RT it came out my laptop speakers, but when i played a song it came thru my audiobox USB. I have to go into the sound setup of the computer under control panel and tell it to use Audiobox as the default sound system.
HP Win 11 12 gig ram, Mac mini Sonoma with 16 gig of ram, BiaB/RB 2026, Reaper 7, Harrison Mixbus 11 , Presonus Audiobox USB96

Since BIAB now turns off ASIO when you do the preview, I wonder if it is picking up your default audio setting. Why not try selecting MME and choose your AudioBox as the MME audio driver, then turn ASIO back on with the AudioBox. See if it then auditions on the AudioBox. Just a thought; can't hurt to try...

This has nothing to do with playing the Demo song tracks. First, go to Opt. menu --> Audio/MIDI setup inside BB and hit the Audio button, make sure that your audiobox usb is listed there for input and output and is highlighted. NOTE: If you do not plug in the USB device and wait for the system to recognize it before you start up BB, Band in a Box likely won't be able to "see" it. BB doesn't refresh that info on the fly like some other audio programs do. At least, it never has here. That means you cannot plug in your USB audio device after BB is opened and expect to hear it. --Mac

hi
i have tried and the only result is i get the real tracks to play right when i am in MME it won`t when i am in ASIO i have tried all what was suggested with out any luck thanks for your help
i have just had a thought when i updated to 2014 i lost my asio and down loaded asio4all could this be a reason

You can safely keep ASIO4ALL on the system when using an aftermarket sound device that has its own sound drivers.
I do it all the time, and have for years on the laptop. That way, if the USB sound device isn't along on the trip, I just select ASIO4ALL to use with the built in sound.
When you are trying to hear ASIO with the USB device, what exactly are you selecting in the Audio Window?

thanks for your help,it has sorted it self out somehow, i now have 2-3 audiobox drivers where i only had 0-1 i must have done something but i put it down to your idea`s on the matter , if any body can sort things out its you Mac thanks once more
