Hello, first time poster!
Making some jazz backing tracks, I just ran into one of my files that seems to refuse to play any RealTrack basses. I seem able to switch over to midi basses fine, and other files don't seem to have this problem. I've tried just about every RealTrack bass (and style with a RealTrack Bass), checked the preferences, the mixer, etc. but can't seem to track down the problem. Any ideas would be appreciated!
Using 2013 Pro on Win 7, if that might be relevant.

I was about to post the same problem. I worked on a track for some time, and eventually got everything working beautifully, and when I made some tweak, a couple real tracks completely stopped working.
I tried the following: 1. Unmuted all instruments. That didn't work. 2. Regenerated all tracks. Nope. 3. Disabled and reenabled the non working tracks. 4. Swithced non working tracks over to midi and then reassigned real tracks... 5. Deleted midi data that was in that slot initially 6. Reset all bars... Nothing works. Very frustrating.
I have experienced this problem before, and can't remember whether I just started over or if the real tracks came back to life on their own.
Any help would be much appreciated. I assume a number of users are having this problem.

Options menu --> Return to Factory Settings
Don't be afraid, it will very likely clear the issue.

Neither "Return to MOST..." nor "Return to ALL..." brought the bass back; in fact "Return to MOST..." yielded garbled playback.

From what is described, the song itself may be corrupt and you will have to start over, especially since Return to Factory Settings did not fix it.
About the garbled playback, try rebooting then restarting BIAB.

Neither "Return to MOST..." nor "Return to ALL..." brought the bass back; in fact "Return to MOST..." yielded garbled playback. I suspect a corrupted songfile as well, then, especially if other files loades, such as PG Music Demo files, play properly. --Mac

Well, no resolution found, except remake the file. It was just 32 bars of chord changes so no biggy. I could see this getting irritating with more elaborate arrangements.
