Does anybody got this problem?
If I load a song in BIAB 2014 and then I play along thru MIDI via the "Thru part" of BIAB, I get blue screen after some minutes.
I use Asio audio driver, and Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth (Use DXI Synth checked). I have tried different latencies on my Audio Interface.
This is the very first time I got this problem in 15 years of using Bandinabox.

Hi Sergino,
When you say that you get a blue screen in a few minutes, how long does it normally take to happen?
Also, when you say you use ASIO, is this ASIO4ALL?
One thing that I'd try first up is to switch from an ASIO driver to MME and see if that makes a difference. It will help us isolate the problem.

Just checking that blue really means blue. When you get a blue screen, it's about a driver. Perhaps you asked a device to work that has a bad driver or is nonexistent. You can't recover from a BSOD, only reboot.
By comparison, in Win 7-64 bit that you have, the gray/white freeze is more common if a device is waiting/unavailable. Sometimes you can recover and continue working.
So, is it blue or gray?
BIAB 2026 Win Audiophile. Software: Fender Studio One 8, Swam horns, Acoustica-7, Notion 6, Song Master Pro, Win 11 Home. Hardware: Intel i9, 32 Gb; Presonus Quantom HD8 & Faderport 8, Royer 121, Adam Sub8 & Neumann 120 monitors.

Thanks very much for your replies.
Today I couldn't reproduce the problem. I played for more than 20 minutes and than for another 10 without any problem.
I can't figure out what did happen yesterday as the blue (actually blue) screen appeared all the 4 times I did try to play till the end of the song.
Just to say: The Asio is the MOTU PCE drive that I always use. I can't use MME because of the latency.

Likely what you did was that there was a REBOOT between those sessions and Windows was able to put all the bits back in a row. Happens sometimes, resources in RAM get scrambled.
