I wasn't aware of a way to turn time signatures off. I use many songs with multiple time signatures, and I checked and the time signature in notation displays are correct for me in 2014.
I am not sure I have the answer, but have you tried Return to Factory Settings from the Opt. drop-down menu?

Robvh, I downloaded your song file and opened it in 2014, and there is the lead sheet excerpt on my display, so it is something more common perhaps to your configuration, rather than an overall problem with 2014. Do you have the latest build (380)?

Although it still isn't working correctly on my XP version I tried it on my W7 version (only the 2014.exe) and it functions correctly. I also update the 2014/375 into 2014/380 on the XP. However it had still no correct result also not after a reïnstall of 2014. May be either a conflict with the previous 2012 and/or 2013 installations? So I guess I need to do a complete unïnstall and the start fresh again. I was wondering if I need again to install first 2012 then 2013 (update) en then 2014 (update) or just run 2014 (from the past my impression was always that BIAB update's are mostly complete functioning version, at least for my limited use)?
Regards, Rob

If you have the 2014 complete installation distribution, just install clean from that, don't bother about installing previous versions first. There is no need.
Although, is there anything special you have in the c:\bb folder, such as your own songs or setups? If so, make sure you backup first.
After installing from disk, apply any PGM BiaB updates (e.g. Build 380)

I just loaded your songfile on my XP SP3 laptop and the proper Time Signatures work here same as depicted by others.
Not sure what's happening on your end, but you might take a look at which Fonts are in use on that setup, via Prefs -> Notation and experiment with a few choices there in an effort to see if that might be affecting things.
Last resort I'd try is the good old Return to Factory Settings under the Option menu. So many are loathe to try that when things stop working, for some reason, I've learned over the years of experience that this one thing often restores proper operation for a whole host of problems encountered here from time to time.
No, it is bought as an update 2013 to 2014 distrubution and but is still called "bandinabox_realband_2014_pro.exe" (354.950 kB), which typically creates confusion to me. But it did function when I installed this (update?) at W7 at least for reading and printing the .mgu files as pdf files for this test. And the 2013 is an update 2012 to 2013. But as said my impression is that you always get the complete version whatever they sell or tell you.
So what I did was removing BIAB first normally like you remove programs (after saving my own song files). Then installed the 2014 (update?). No difference. Removed it again, but now with the "Revo" un-installer and removed it thoroughly including searching for all left register items. But it still left the files (.sty and bb song files) which you need to remove separately. Still no difference. So I removed it a third time but now really deleting any file/directory available from BIAB (so the most thoroughly you can do with "Revo") and then installed it again. Put back my own saved files and EUREKA it works correct again. So simple un-installations do a lousy job.

If I were you, I'd send PG Music Support an email at support@pgmusic.com because it's these kind of anomalies that they like to know about.
As I'm sure you'd appreciate, given the complexity of BIAB it's a pretty difficult task to check every possible combination of settings on's and off's and gauge how they interact with one another. What you've inadvertently discovered could be very useful information for the support team. Since these are user forums, Support might well miss this thread.
