Hi, after reinstalling BiaB completly new the following message appears on the screen when trying to exit the program --> http://www.cisum.info/biab.jpg What is going wrong? I can only quit the program with the task manager.

What folder have you installed BIAB to? Also, is the program fully installed on your hard drive or do you run it from a USB drive?

Hi Noel,
when starting the setup.exe I did not have a chance to select where to install BiaB. Everything went automaticaly.
I have bought the programm on a small harddisk (connected via USB) where I did start the setup.exe. So I supose everything is installed on this special harddisk. When clicking the program icon with a right click it says that it is installed on the harddisk.
What can I do to have a proper installation. Do I have to return the harddisk to BiaB to get a new one?
I just don't know what I did wrong.

Cudo, the error message is saying BIAB is not able to update (write) to a file. Windows Vista, 7 & 8 will not let programs automatically write to a hard drive unless the program is running in administrator mode.
Single click on your BIAB desktop icon, right click to open the icon sub menu then choose the option to run as administrator.

Hi Jim,
thank you for the hint. Everything works now like it should be.
Why this happens only with BiaB? Other programs I installed like CUBASE and SIBELIUS did not react like this.

Cudo, I don't why Windows handles BIAB different from your other music programs. Wish I did but I'm not that educated about software interactions.
I'm glad my suggestion helped to fix your problem.

Likely because BBW.EXE is a standalone program that does not write to Windows Registry. --Mac
