I have a completed western swing track that is 3 choruses and 2:48 long in the Biab screen. It plays 2:48. But when I export to a WAV file the track is 6:00 long with an extra 3 minutes of only the bass thumping away to the chord progression. I can't locate these ghost choruses and don't want to re-enter the data. Is this an issue someone has experience with? I know that this particular file has been through lots of changes and at one point I had 200 measures. instead of merely repeating the chorus I was writing the song out as a complete piece. But when I changed it to a chorus based song and deleted the extra measures I think some of it got left behind and I don't know how to delete it.

Is there a chance that the bass track is frozen, and therefore playing from when the song was unfolded, and then converted to a chorus based song? If it was frozen, it might not get re-created. Unfreeze and regenerate and see if that helps.

And if that doesn't fix it, try Opt., Return to Factory Settings.
By the way, is the bass track MIDI or a RealTrack?

Thanks for the advice but this is a strange problem mainly because I'm learning. I figured out that I'd assigned bass patches to the piano track and fiddle to the guitar and contra bass to the soloist. By muting one by one I did regenerate the whole song but now the melody won't play and even stranger is when I export to .wav the OLD arrangement/generation is what is exported with the same melody and extra three minutes of bass. I've regenerated the track, renamed the track, saved the new generation and the exported .wav file with the new name is of the old arrangement. So, now I can't hear the melody, I can see the melody and edit it but it won't play and I can't save this arrangement, which is actually a little cleaner than the first one. Now, it's a true minus-one progression backing track but I can't share it because it isn't exporting.
I'm not sure if the Bass is midi or RT. I think I tried to make it a Real Track am still working out an approach to song making.

If the Trackname is GREEN in color, it is an RT.
If Trackname is in YELLOW, it is MIDI.
