I use: BIAB 2014 ET Pk./Windows 7/Lap Top is HP i7/usb Mixer/Ketron MS 20/PreSonus AudioBox 22vsl/Powered Speakers(X two). Is it feasible and or possible to route all or part of the midi tracks thru the Ketron and still use RealTracks on designated tracks in the same song? The Lap Top is usb capable as is the mixer. The 22vsl is usb powered/in and out X two/+ midi in and out X one. The Ketron MS 20 has midi in and out X one + 1/4 inch. L & R out X one. Those forum members old enough :)to remember the MS 20 from Ketron know it as a full featured sound module with lots of great piano and sax sounds, Not cheap, $1,400.00 in the 90,s. Is there a routing that I could try?-------Leon

BB would need to provide midi out with channel assignments in order to accomplish this task. I don't know if BB can do that, but someone who does will be along shortly with the correct answer.
If it doesn't provide midi out in that format..... you could simply drag the midi tracks and the real tracks into a DAW that does do midi out (most do) and use that platform to do what you want.
You can find my music at: www.herbhartley.comAdd nothing that adds nothing to the music. You can make excuses or you can make progress but not both. The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.

Thanks Guitarhacker, It is an unusual request, but worth the research. If a CD was the end result, then your suggestion would be a worthwhile option. I will still need the proper routing of cables. The MS 100 to MS 20 hookup was a no brainer, although a waste of money -----Leon

Then connect the two Audio Outputs L and R from the Ketron to a Mixer Line Input so that you can hear it play through the computer's sound monitoring system along with the RealTracks. Be sure to visit Options menu -> Audio/MIDI... window and highlight the RH MIDI pane where the Audiobox MIDI is indicated by clicking on it once. Also be sure to UNcheck the "Use DXi" synth command at the far RH lower side of the same window so that the MIDI data will be sent to the MIDI Output jack of the Ketron rather than to one of the software synths. --Mac

Mac, I sorta figured you would have a handle on this. I shall try your hook up and report back progress if any . Also, since taking your advise on the UAC settings, all is go.-----Leon
