Hallo; For some times, i´d like PTPA often!! But we have no update since 100 years!! So it can be, that I get the reaper from cockos!! Help, Help, Help

Reaper is pretty cool, a lot of guys like it.
Have you tried Realband here?
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

yes i´ve tried real band; but this is "only" a mixdure of BaB and PTPA.
I´ve also BaB but Band in a box is for me to complex.
So I want only a better PTPA Ver.13 or higher.
I don´t like switch between PTPA, reaper, Sony Acid Studio and Music Maker Pro....
Every one have some good details, but one alone must be enough.
Thats my wish.
What is now with PTPA - is there a new Version or is PTPA stand still on Vers.12 since 2,5 years!!!

T really answer you we would have to know a little about your process. All programs have their good and bad points.
What do you record and How?
HP Win 11 12 gig ram, Mac mini Sonoma with 16 gig of ram, BiaB 2025, Realband, Reaper 7, Harrison Mixbus 9 32c , Melodyne 5 editor, Presonus Audiobox 1818VSL, Presonus control app.

Realband took PT12 and improved it. It has many features that are not BiaB features, but rather upgrades to features in PT12
The BiaB features in Realband are handy for the BiaB users, but much simpler in Realband.
I don't enjoy working in BiaB either, but I do enjoy Realband and rarely have need for PT12 now..
I personally think Realband will develop faster than PT12 from here on out.

Sorry for my bad english, but I´m an Austrain man!!!
I Wish an new version of PT witch can
* work with external Controler like korg nano kontrol or Behringer FCB 1010
* Have a better automation for the volume and effects
* can work like reaper (drag and trop the wav samples in the tracks)
* have a better wav editor for streching, cuting, and time shifting (f.e. pitch down and high one semitone)
* have a better update sequenz
* the optic of the surface is older!!!!!!!!!!!!!
* have a juke box funktion for live performance like sequel, live4 or stage tracker!!

When you say you rarely use PT12 now - what is it in PT that you do use?

Well, sometimes I open it by accident, and sometimes the harmonizer gets tinkered with..
and sometimes I'll use it just because ALL of my DX FX are in PT, not all of them are loaded into RB yet.
I also work with some guys that own PT and not RB, so when doing projects with them I try to use the same sequencer.
I'm betting that while support continues for PTW the focus of development will be on RB, I have no official word on that, just my gut feeling.. I know that's how I would handle it if I were large and in charge..

The WHEN is always up to pgmusic.
Haven't heard anything concerning PT but you can also monitor this yourself, keep an eye peeled to the main homepage to see when and if there is a request for beta testers, for one thing. That's always a sure clue.
Of course, the advent of RealBand and the addition of 101 new RealTracks to the last goround likely put PT into a temporary backseat. Only time will tell for sure.
