Probably was a copyright issue, but it would be nice if PG locked the thread, erased the link and said "Post deleted due to copyright issues".

That's what I initially said but was chastized for that view. Might have been Malware but I think that was resolved. Nice way to collect email addresses though. Just the suspicious French Canadian in me.

Oh well, I'm glad a few people were able to enjoy some of the free files that they will never get otherwise. Music is something that should be shared and not hogged by personal entrepreneurs for personal monetary gain. Besides most of your music printing companies never print the songs in the way they were done anyway, which was always my chief gripe

silvertones
It was not malware or for profit, but just an old man who arranged the songs in the best original way the groups actually did them. I suspect silvertone you just are jealous because most likely you cannot create music and are jealous of those who do. Silvertone not everyone in this world is out to cheat you or crash your computer. Quit being so cynical of people

For your information I am a retired man who has no commercial business and could care less. I was nice enough to send you my BIAB collections and then you post pure lies about me as Silvertones does as well. It amazes me how people are.You try to do nice things for people and then they are ungrateful at what you do. You probably got spam because everyone does if you use the internet and not because of one old man. You are pathetic raifbore

I'm glad I got them before they got pulled. I want to study Beatles songs anyway -- what could be better than a well done BIAB file. Thanks rd151.

I know I got the Beatles songs when Ron offered them awhile back (I think it's been a few years ago) and have enjoyed them ever since. I've not received any spam from that and was happy to get it.

I also took Ron up on his offer and have not received any additional spam on the account used.

Ron, I thank you for your generosity. I hope I can manage to learn a little more of BIAB from your examples.

Ron was also kind enough to send the files to me, and I've received no spam. I think Ron is being treated harshly for an act of generosity.

Thanks rd151

Your Beatles files are very good. Likely copyright issues, as Mac says. Don't care about all the rest.

Ciao e grazie

Ron,
As I originally mentioned I WAS NOT accusing you of anything. Just offering an answer as to why the posts were removed.
Yes I actually got them from you, as John F. did, a few years back. When someone all of a sudden pops back in to a forum and offers something I get a little cautious. That's it. It's happened on this site many times.

I used a new email-account to get the Beatles-Files never used before in web. on that account, no spam in my Outlook junk-mail directory bevor mailing to rd151. After receiving the truely nice BiaB-Beatles-files there are 5 spam-mails in junk-mail directory - viagra, home-jobs and all that stuff. Just coincidence?

There can be other reasons and ways to get spammed, Ralf.

New accounts can be found by bots now, too, as fast as they are created sometimes.
