I saved a guitar chord progression as MIDI in Band In a Box & imported into Overture notation program. The first few chords changed OK, then the chords stayed the same for the rest of the song. What did I do wrong & how can I get the MIDI file to follow the progression?

BIAB does not export chord XML data, that may be the reason, I don't have familiarity with Overture but the chords from BIAB don't export to my notation program, either.
This one is on the Wishlist, though.
Meanwhile, we will have to either type the chords in or perhaps your notation program has a feature that will decipher the chords from the MIDI notes. Many do.

Just to be clear, that's the chord *symbols* that Mac is referring to. The MIDI file should *sound* the same as it did when you played the song in Band-in-a-Box (minus audio tracks)...

I don't know what went wrong before but the MIDI chord progressions are working now.
