If I want to, say, cut everything from bar 20-25, is there a way to select all the tracks with the mouse, and cut?
Also, the pan pots in track mode and mixer mode seem to just go left or right stereo audio. How do you move the music on a track left or right in the stereo field of listening? That didn't sound right, I probably said it wrong. These are real tracks, and I want to move the guitar to the left about 20 degrees like in BB. As I move the pan, I loose half of the two green lights for the track. Maybe I'm just tone deaf?

Yes standard Windows cut, copy, paste. Click on bar 25 ,hold down the left button and drag all tracks to bar 25. Let go and click on cut. A dialog will open that's self explanatory.
Pan works fine here however if you have the buffers in the audio preferences window still set to 2000 it takes a moment for the change to register. I set my buffers at 250.

If by "green lights" you mean the VU meters, well, when you Pan, the energy has to move in the direction of the Pan and the VU meters reflect that.
That is what Panning IS.
Panning a stereo track will still work because of what we call "Equal Energy Panning".

Thank you. I backed off on my reverb, and now I hear it move. I think everything was washing, and not as apparent as with a dry signal.

The simplest way to do this is with the bars window. In your top menu bar click on Window>Bars. The window that opens shows all the tracks with the bars displayed as little boxes and the bar numbers are going across the top. Put your mouse on bar 20 of track 1, left click and hold it while dragging the mouse to bar 25 and down to your last track. You see it highlights all that. Now you go to Edit>Cut, tell it to "close gap" and that's it. You can also do the same basic thing on the main tracks screen, drag the mouse, highlight and cut but I prefer the bars window because each bar is its own box and it's easy to only grab a full bar and not part of one. If you want to extend your song by a complete verse or extend a solo section, again drag and highlight the section, hit copy instead of cut, put the mouse where you want to insert that section, drag it down so it highlights one bar for all tracks and hit paste and whatever you highlighted will insert in front of those bars.
