Hallo!
Ich habe zwei Probleme:
1. Mein BIAB 2014 findet plötzlich - habe länger nicht gedruckt - den Drucker nicht mehr, und dieser läßt sich auch nicht einstellen. Fehlermeldung: Printer selected is not valid at: 00447E5E, eine zweite Maske zeigt: Druckt ...(Notensatz)...auf dem HP ...(Druckername korrekt)..., verbunden mit Ne05. Es passiert aber nichts! Unter dem Tastenfeld "Drucker einrichten" öffnet sich nichts.
2. Wie kann man einen beidhändigen Pianosatz einstellen, und zwar mit unterschiedlichen Trenntönen ja nach Akkordlage für die linke und rechte Hand?

Zu 1: Das sieht eher nach einem Windows bzw. System Problem aus.
Zu 2: In den Notation Window Options gibt es eine Checkbox -> Auto-Hand split Piano track. Funktioniert leidlich; eine manuelle und individuelle Einstellung von Trenntönen wird hier nicht unterstützt.

Zum Thema Drucker: Ich kann mit jeder Software drucken, nur nicht mit BIAB.
Zum Thema Notensatz-Split:
Gibt es nicht evtl. die Möglichkeit, die li. und re. Hand im Pianosatz mit versch. Midi-Kanälen zu trennen, also z.B. Kanal 8 re. Hand, Kanal 9 li. Hand. Wenn ja, wie weist man der einzelnen Note den anderen Midi-Kanal zu?

Cool. 'Auto-Hand split Piano track' trennt bereits automatisch linke und rechte Hand in die Midikanäle 8 bzw. 9. Wenn hier noch Korrekturen gewünscht sind -> einfach im editierbaren Notenmodus auf eine einzelne Note rechts-klicken, 'Edit Note' anklicken und über 'Channel' den Kanal einstellen. In der Tat eine gute Methode, um notenweise Violin- bzw. Bassschlüssel zuzuweisen. Das Druckerproblem bleibt rätselhaft - möglicherweise hilft es, den Drucker neu zu installieren? Funktioniert ggf. ein anderer Drucker, etwa ein (free) PDF-Drucker? Das böte zumindest einen geeigneten 'Workaround'.

Weil das mit dem beidhändigen Pianosatz geklappt hat, nochmal einen Zusammenfassung (musste wegen Spurtyp die Hilfe nachschlagen etc.):
1. Den Notensatz einspielen / eingeben oder importieren.
Die Darstellung erfolgt entweder unter Melodie oder
Soloist (nicht bei Piano!!!)
2. Über Optionen > Maske: Einstellungen im
Notationsfenster
den Splitpunkt einstellen. Wenn das nicht ausreichend
ist, weil der Pianosatz nicht durchgängig im
gewünschten Wirkungsbereich des Splitpunktes bleibt,
ist Nr. 3 erforderlich.
3. In den Edit-Bereich des Notensatzes gehen und Optionen
anklicken: Die unter Nr. 2 gen. Maske erscheint.
Dort oben links unter Spurtyp "Piano" stellen. Dann
die zu bearb. Noten des Akkordes nacheinander re.
anklicken und "Note editieren" auswählen. In der
folg. Maske in der ersten Anzeige oben unter Kanal
für die re. Hand K 9 und die li. K 8
eingeben. Dann funktioniert der Pianosatz!

Funktioniert ggf. ein anderer Drucker, etwa ein (free) PDF-Drucker? Das böte zumindest einen geeigneten 'Workaround'.
Print to PDF in den Print Options geht auch ...

Danke, das stimmt. Ich habe es ausprobiert. So kann ich ausdrucken.
Noch einen Nachtrag zum Pianosatz: Wenn man unter Optionen den Splitpunkt zw. rechter und li. Hand verstellt, geschieht das für das ganze System. Da der Splitpunkt aber bei fast jedem Song anders ist, muss er jeweils wieder korrigiert werden. Also bei passendem Splitpunkt schon mal ausdrucken.

With Band-in-a-Box® 2026, we've released 202 incredible new RealTracks (in sets 468-488) in a variety of genres—featuring your most requested styles!
Jazz, Funk & World (Sets 468-475):
Our new jazz, funk & blues RealTracks include a groovin’ collection of RealTracks and RealDrums! These include more requested “soul jazz” RealTracks featuring artists Neil Swainson (bass), Charles Treadway (organ), Brent Mason (guitar), and Wes Little (drums). There are new “smooth jazz” styles (4), which include a RealTracks first: muted trumpet, as well as slick new smooth jazz brushes options for drums. Blues lovers will be thrilled—there are more “classic acoustic blues” styles, including guitar (5), bass (4), and drums (10) with blues master Colin Linden, featuring understated and tasty background acoustic soloing, plus brushes drums and acoustic bass.
