I've been using the notation system a lot lately to enter Real Book tunes into BIAB format. There's a rather common one-beat jazz figure composed of sixteenth-note triplets and an eighth note; I'm pretty sure that BIAB isn't supposed to be able to notate this and I'm pretty sure that I saw on this (or another) forum a fiddle for making it work. But I can no longer find it. Any ideas (other than using a proper notation program because notation is not a primary part of BIAB's mission)?
By the way, it seems to me that triplet display can be disrupted not only by a checkmark in the "Clean" box but also by having "Tick Offset" (in Notation Options) set at something other than zero. Has anyone else run into this?

Mac (and any other problem solvers),
After a lot of experimentation I have come to the conclusion that this sixteenth-triplet + eighth note figure may be a common form of bebop ornamentation (see RealBook vol 2 version of Parker's "Dewey Square," last measure) but BIAB just isn't going to notate it for me. It may well be possible to make it play the right notes at the right time, but it won't print them correctly. BIAB is not currently hip enough, though I'm hoping that, in response to my query, PG Music will speed up the release of "Bop in a Box" . So don't waste any more time trying to answer my question. Go practice instead.

For printout purposes you may obtain the typical sixteenth-triplet with an eighth note, yet with a 5 instead of a 3 in the tuplet annotation. If you have some PDF editor, you might get this appropriately edited with potentially acceptable effort.

I know I should have been practicing, but I couldn't stop fiddling with this problem. By setting the beat resolution to 6 and entering the 16th-triplet notes on subdivisions 1-3 and the eighth-note on 4, I can get BIAB to play the figure correctly. The printout just requires a minor application of Wite-Out to make it conform to standard jazz notation (thanks to Martin for moving my thinking in this direction).
