I've lost a list I had of lots of jazz standards, grouped into same or similar chord sequences.(For example, "I got rhythm" chords are the same as those in "Cottontail" and several other songs.)
Can anyone help? Even one or two at a time would be great.

In the jazz world we don't say, "I've Got Rhythm" -- instead just saying, "Rhythm Changes" or "The Rhythm Changes".

Everyone should know Rhythm Changes in Bb and Eb at the least, inclusive of all the modified bridges that have evolved.

I know that - just didn`t know if Mike knows

And yes folks, practice the Rhythm Changes in all keys. Just change the key in BB or get the Aebersold "Rhythm Changes in All keys" volume.

OK, so know I know that "rhythm changes" is not only used in South Africa.
But please, folks, let's have some more of these, other that the rhythm changes tunes.

not quite what you ask for but still might be useful a page i put together centered around chords

i am also thinking biab's ability to display chords in roman numerals would be helpful

Jazz alert, jazz alert...

Russ, do not read the above thread!!

Only kidding, I'll get into it some day.

Lucky we didn't start on pop songs with, erm, 'borrowed' chord structures, or we would quickly have used up all PG Music's available server space.

Maybe not what the poster is looking for, but a great resource, these changes are for the most part pretty much correct!
