Hi forum,
I am using BIAB to play standard midi files. I am using the DXi for sounds. When I edit the perameters on DXi and save my file, the changes to DXi do not save. What am I doing wrong? Please help.

I am not sure what parameters you want to change in the DXi. To change stuff like volume, reverb, patches, etc it is best to do that to the BIAB song itself and save those settings with the song. Use ALT F2 (Save Song with Patches and Harmony) and mark what should be saved. If not, the BIAB style will trump any change you try to make. There are global overrides that can be discussed if this is not adequate.

If you are doing *anything* in the way of editing by using the DXi synth's actual control panel window, those things cannot be saved by BIAB file.

Hi Saxy,
The settings for volume - reverb - chorus and pan are controlled by the settings you save in a BIAB song
Features like expression and delay if set in the VSC DXi panel should remain as global and can be saved/loaded in the VSC DXi panel
