Hello, Is there a way to get biab real tracks, piano in this case to play a chord w/extensions in a different inversion or to come down on it a little harder. I've noticesd the piano often underplays some of these chords. I'm trying to get a 7#5#9 so the #9 sounds like it's on top of the chord. I currently does not.

Hi Ron,
Realtracks do not allow control of inversions.
What you could do is to use either the Melody or Soloist tracks and add the wanted note(s) in the appropriate bar using a midi piano sound.
Alternatively, if the piano Realtrack you are using has notation, you could modify this notation (if it was loaded on the Melody or Soloist tracks) and re-direct it through a good midi piano. Midi piano is very realistic these days if you have good software.

Hello Noel, Know what you mean about midi piano sounding good. Because even in decades gone by there was even some good stuff in my K2500R. The Young Chang Grand was pretty nice. But I haven't got my midi guitar up an running yet. Got all the stuff but having trouble with the installation of a us made floating humbucker on the same instrument. I can imagine how much sampling technology has improved. But it still all has to come down to 24 little bits!!I'Ive been away from it for about 10 years. For this kind of equipment it would be like getting out of jail after 50 years and going to a high end music store.
I will try your suggestions when I get up and running w/ the midi stuff. Do you know if a MOTU Midi timepiece AV is still compatible with current midi specs?

I can't help you with the MOTU information. If you make a post in the Off Topic forum asking about this, though, I imagine that there will be someone (or maybe more) who can help. There are some very talented audio/midi people on this site.

The MOTU web site says yes: http://motu.com/downloadI used this DL for my MOTU MIDI Express in Win 10 and it runs just find. I already had this unit working in Win 7. I hope this helps.

Hey Mario Thanks, I appreciate you going the extra mile so to speak. I haven't lit up any of this MOTU stuff in 5 years or so. I'm still modifying one of my archtops to carry the GK3, and need to rewire the volume, tone cap p u to jack circuit. I must have gotten sloppy somewere got a big hum to deal with. Once that's done I should be able to just play the chord in I hope. Not sure how that would work w/realtracks. Too much tech stuff to keep up with these days and keep up with adobe house maintenance, access road maintenance ....OK I'll stop whinning, I actually like doing all that stuff but it gets in the way of makin' music. Which is still a priority, Feel like I'm running out of time, sometimes. Thanks again.
