Anybody having problems transposing in Real Band? Some of the tracks tranpose to the new key...other real tracks as well as midi data stay in the old key. I check yes when asked if I want the midi to be changed, but it doesn't work. Also the real tracks ,I've added after importing the song from BIAB, stay at the old key.
I've tried highlighting the tracks I want changed, not highlighting... anything... but all to no avail....I don't know if it is operator error or something with the program. I could go back to BIAB re-import the song in the new key, but then I've got to do my arrangement all over....

Have you hit the "Generate" button? Because RealTracks are audio files, they cannot simply be transposed like MIDI; they need to be regenerated in the new key. Similarly, RealTracks saved from BIAB are also audio files and cannot be transposed.
While it is possible to change the pitch of audio files to a limited degree, success varies. Such transposition can be effected by selecting a track (right-click on the track and then press CNTRL+A), left-click over the grayed-out track, select "Audio Effects" and then "Pitch Shift".

You don't need to use the Pitch Shift plugin for any RealTracks that you have the source RealTrack file and corresponding bto file for, but you do have to regenerate any RealTracks after doing a keychange, otherwise they will just stay in the key they were originally generated in.

When I hit the generate button it tranposes the file I've imported from BIAB- both midi and real tracks- but the RT that I have added to the arrangement stay in the original key. Is there a method to tranpose those tracks as well?

Perhaps those particular RealTracks are not in the "BIAB" area of RealBand but on the lower tracks below the BB generation area?

Correct. Black RT will not transpose only Blue ones.

Any extra RealTracks will have to be re-generated after a key change. Right-click on the track and click on 'select and generate RealTrack'
