If there's a way to do this in the HELP, I can't find it.
What I'd LOVE to do is make some shortcuts for the functions I use the most.
Instead of going to menu after menu after drop down, etc. . . over and over . . .
For instance . . .
If I could make a set of shortcut/icons and put them in a tool bar, that would be an incredible time saver.
Like maybe 4 icons in a shortcut tool bar that . . .

A Insert new track B Render active midi track to new audio track C Split stereo audio track to 2 mono tracks D Edit Audio track

I think this has been in the wish list MANY times. I know I have put it there. I want to have a shortcut key to the gain change window. Instead of doing ALL that clicking to get to the gain change window, I want to have a hot key. Even with the script based hot key programs, I don't know how I would tell the hot key scripting to click this menu, scroll down, click this menu, then from that menu click here, etc.... I use the gain change a LOT and it gets old having to click that over and over and over. I would also like to do other customizations, like when I delete a track I DON'T want it to tell me that "deleting a track will cause all the other tracks to move up one" yada yada yada. I get it. It's been years. Allow me to turn that warning window (and most others) off. That is as newbie as Windows asking if I want to delete a file. And then if I REALLY want to delete it. And then if I REALLY REALLY want to delete it. Delete it the first time. I went through a very specific set of clicks to get to the delete process. I know what I'm doing. Same applies here.
