Even though I'm a long time BiaB user, I'm just beginning to use Real Tracks. As I was working on a new song tonight (Dave Brubeck's "Three To Get Ready" - alternating 3/4 and 4/4), I noticed that following a section where I had the piano, bass or drum parts muted, when I reactivated them ("Return to Normal"), they didn't begin to sound for several measures following the measure where they were reactivated. Has anyone else had this problem, and, if so, is there a solution?

Try regenerating the song after changing parameters.
The Play button should force a regeneration (as opposed to the "Replay" button).
Of course, there are times when the ducks get out of line with BIAB and Windows, at that point I stop, shut down BB and reboot the computer (frees resources, gets those bit ducks back in a row behind the mama duck), then start BB back up and see if things are working right again. If they aren't, then I go to the Opts -> Return to Factory Settings button, which solves 90% or more of such problems where BIAB doesn't do what it used to do.

I've had the same issue from time to time. I think it is dependent on the style in use at the moment. Regenerating the track sometimes works, but I've resorted to unmuting the desired RT a bar early to get around it. Same sort of thing with volume changes as well on RTs. If it is really bothersome, I'll send it to RB with nothing muted and deal with it there.

New to forum and biib. i'm creating accompaniment tracks for playing live (jazz standards). my problem is that my bar settings are lost on some arrangements when i reopen biib. on most of my tracks, i have Soloist and Strings generating RealTracks and have them coming in and out at various times in certain tunes. when i reopen (some of) these tunes, the Soloist and Strings play thruout the tune. i've tried using "Save Song w/Patches and Harmony" which is what a biib tech told me to do but am having no luck. anyone know the solution?? thx.
