I have installed BIAB 2009 A and I have 2 problems.
The first is that using _PBALADM I get an error message:
Out of memory at: 0083AB55
It stops when loading 362:Guitar Strumming ....EV85
I have 16 giga of RAM and Vista64 is the OS.
The second is that with my Apple keyboard I have lost the "#" sign position and I have to use the henarmonic corrisponding "b"

I need all that RAM because of VSL Vienna MIR. A new software that, for each individual instrument or ensemble, takes into account how sound emanates from its body, in what direction, and in relation to its position in the hall.
If you consider convolution reverb like MIDI, Vienna MIR is like PG Music Realtracks.
With realtracks you have a music group at home, with MIR you have a symphonic orchestra on a real stage.
But you need a very very powerful PC and a 64 bit OS for that , that's why I use Vista 64 on my MAC.
But what about my 2 problems with BIAB 2009a !?!?

16 GB won't be used by any 32 bit program ... which doesn't explain the out of memory message, though -> _PBALADM loads without problems here on a 3 GB standard Vista system.

Hi all
I have a ‘memory problem’ (Out of memory at: …….) also. I’m pretty sure that I’m not out of memory, as Sergino certainly isn’t. Funny enough, I have noticed that I also got the out of memory message when I’m trying to load Strumming EV 85. However, I’m not sure that this RT is the only culprit, properly not.
I’m running W7 RC, 64 Bit – 4GB Ram, I have the BB material on a portable HD, hence why I can run BIAB on my Laptop as well (XP 32Bit – 2GB Ram) however this PC also reports memory problems (?)
Any ideas.

Hello Sergino,
An improved version of this particular style (Guitar, Acoustic Strumming Ev 085) was released in December 2008. If you were somehow using an older ST2 file with newer audio files, then you might get this error. To fix it, you could reinstall RealTracks Set 1 (if it has a date of December 2008 or later) or reinstall RealTracks Set 23 (Pop Acoustic Guitar).
You might find that you can enter a sharp by using another key. Does '3' not work?

Hello, I have this same error 0083AB55. I updated from 2009 to 2009.5 the other nite online. I then purchased one of the summer packs and down loaded only a few of the sets that are in the bundle. My problem thus far id with Western Swing WSFSTFL Ctry Classic..I choose this as the style I want ..make new song..enter chords..start..then error pops up. I am running W Vista 64 6GB Ram. I am not a know it all about PC's so simpler the explanation the better. Thanks, Jerry

Hi Sergino, So if I re install the Western Swing RT set like Andrew was talking about it might fix my problem? If so I guess I'll have to wait for the disk to come in mail unless theres a place on PG site to do this. Jerry

Hi bosco,
If this error happens with just one or a few songs, could you send a copy of one of them to support@pgmusic.com?
There error can be caused by a specific combination of RealTrack #, which track its on, a particular chord, and song key.

Hello Jerry, Yes, just save a standard song file (.mgu or .sgu) when you encounter the problem, then email the song file as an attachment to support@pgmusic.com. This way, unless it is a problem that is somehow specific to your computer, we should be able to duplicate it and provide a fix for it.

Hi Bosco,
The error is caused by RealTrack 362 (Acoustic guitar strumming), and either a "Bb" or "A#" chord. The error will occur most of the time if you have one of these chords.
I recommend that you switch RealTrack 362 with 405. Just right-click on the strings track, click on Assign RealTracks and then choose "Guitar, Acoustic, Strumming Ev 120".

Hi Blake, This error ( 0083AB55) occured in the new Western Swing real track set and it has different guitars than one you list above. This western swing set has other isssues as well like high pitch ham radio frequencies that happen at certain measures for several bars. Changing the one chord where this starts to happen in lets say G to G9 remedies this. I am going to try and duplicate it and send over to support. I appreciate your reply, Jerry
