I reneded a file to wave using the VSC and muted a track. Now all of the tracks stay muted. The VSC says it is not. I can press and hold the solo and I will get the sound but it does not stay "ON".
This was happeing on Powertracks but rebooting solved it. Now happening in BB.

"VSC" -- not "VCS" please. "Virtual Sound Canvas"
There has been a reported bug in which the VSC Master Volume suddenly gets turned down to zero. I've been able to reproduce it here at least twice.
Check the VSC Control Panel and after it opens, make sure you are looking at the view that has all the Volume Faders in it, check to see that all of them, including the Master at the bottom, are turned up all the way.

UPS, sorry for the typo.
Volume is turned up all the way on the master on the bottom. I am also loosing hard drive space. Could something else be auto saving/rentering ..... somehow?
I installed in 2005 and have a 95% filled hard drive and a few to many bug removed from my computer.

OK, I went to the tab "GM", clicked on Roland GS, then "Reset all ID's" - Then asked to reset to factory setting. I hit OK, Now I have the track playing.
Any way to check if all the stuff that I played was saved somewhere?

You can use the microsoft Find or Search feature under the Start menu to search your hard drive for all *.wav files. Also should do it for *.mp3, too.
Inspect the list generated to see if there is an inordinate amount of files named the same as your BIAB files and where they may be on the drive.

That drive is way too full to work right. Recipe for disaster there.
Typically you should try to keep at least 10-15% freespace.
Try the Drive Cleanup utility, then also try finding and moving or deleting some unneeded stuff off of that hard drive, then afterwards, do the System Defrag on the drive. Do not try to defrag with only 5% disk space, it will take forever and may not work right at that level.
