Bonjour à tous,
Nouveau sur le forum j'utilise BIAB 2018 depuis peu et je trouve ce logiciel formidable mais je cale sur un point précis: impossible d'ajouter une piste de tambourin qui jouerait un pattern très simple (noire sur le 2ème temps) pendant toute la grille... Si quelqu'un a une idée merci d'avance !

Bonjour Pitoubasse
Deux pistes me viennent en tête :
- éditer la piste mélodie en créant le tambourin sur la première mesure puis en la copiant sur toutes les mesures ;
- créer une boucle "tambourin.wav" et l'insérer dans ton arrangement (Piste > choisir une boucle pour cette piste).
Cette deuxième solution me parait de loin la plus élégante car réutilisable pour tous tes morceaux BIAB.
Maintenant je laisse à d'autres le soin de t'expliquer comment réaliser ce fichier wav car je ne suis pas pro en la matière...

Bonjour,
J'ai plutôt parlé de boucle, en me remettant aux experts pour leur fabrication. L'idée serait de créer par exemple 4 mesures de tambourin (voir ci-dessous) et d'enregistrer la piste en fichier vaw puis de l'utiliser comme boucle. Mais je ne suis pas expert en la matière.
Sinon, pour la première option consistant à éditer la piste mélodie : créer une noire toutes les mesures sur le deuxième temps sur la note Gb4=F#4 qui correspond au tambourin dans le kit de batterie standard.
Il faut alors affecter le canal 10 à la piste mélodie (ou soliste)
Pour ce faire j'ai trouvé la solution : Options / Configurer le pilote midi / Réglages synthé VSTi CoyoteWT puis dans l'interface de Coyote : Forcer canal midi = 10.
Il y a peut être d'autres solutions plus simples pour affecter le canal midi 10, celui de la batterie midi à la piste mélodie ?

pitoubasse, bienvenu dans le forum français de BIAB.
La création de boucle est une option faisable mais par forcément à la portée d'un débutant dans BIAB.
Une autre alternative est d'utiliser les boucles déjà présentes dans BIAB et voir si cela te convient.
De plus cela te permettra de te familiariser avec l'utilisation des boucles.
Les fichiers des boucles sont stockés dans le répertoire RealTracks/Loops.
On peut aussi utiliser des boucles - gratuites ou payantes - disponibles sur Internet.
Pour le détail de l'utilisation des boucles voir dans le manuel PDF et faire une recherche 'boucles'.

Merci à vous pour vos réponses, en fait plusieurs trucs m'échappent:
- si je veux enregistrer via le kit batterie et que je joue ma partie de tambourin elle apparait ensuite dans la piste mélodie comme vibraphone ??!!
- si je veux sélectionner un instrument midi dans une piste autre que la batterie je me retrouve avec choix de sons impressionnants mais pas de percu simple comme un tambourin ou des claves qui sont pourtant dans le kit batterie (d'ailleurs c'est sans doute lié à ma remarque précédente)
- en forçant les real drums en midi afin de les éditer en mode notation j'ai un mal fou à faire des copier-coller; je n'arrive pas non plus à effacer la batterie midi existante (à moins de le faire note à note...) et si je fais "efface piste" pour créer ma partie il n'y a plus de décompte !
- j'ai crée un pattern dans style maker mais impossible de l'entendre ensuite dans le morceau...
Désolé d'être si long mais je suis vraiment paumé et pourtant je pense que ça ne doit pas être si compliqué...

En tant que néophyte tu as plein de questions c'est normal.
Il y a une courbe d'apprentissage du fonctionnement de BIAB pour tout le monde et cela prend plus ou moins longtemps selon les connaissances que l'on a en MIDI, en théorie de la musique/solfège, en Audio, le temps passé à utiliser BIAB, etc...
Donc je t'invite à être curieux, à expérimenter, à BIEN lire le manuel qui est une vraie mine d'or : 10 ans après mon 1er BIAB je le lis encore...
La partie tambourin enregistrée sur le canal Mélodie ne pourra pas rendre les sons de tambourin : en effet les sons d'un kit de batterie ne peuvent être rendus que sur le canal 10. C'est le standard MIDI, ce n'est pas spécifique à BIAB.
Dans Préférences/canaux met la valeur 10 dans Canal pour la piste Mélodie.
Attention : en faisant cela, tu auras ton tambourin mais la piste mélodie ne pourra reproduire que les sons de kit batterie pour tous les morceaux. Tout dépend si tu penses utiliser la piste Mélodie pour enregistrer des mélodies ou pas.
Cette façon de faire n'est pas dans les règle de l'art, moi j'utiliserais plutôt un Boucle sur la piste Soliste par exemple, laissant la piste Mélodie libre pour recevoir la mélodie du morceau.
Tout dépend en fait de la configuration de ton mix (quelles pistes sont utilisées ou pas).
Autre solution valable : ajouter le tambourin à la partie batterie existante:
Enregistrer la partie tambourin sur la piste Mélodie
Puis faire Edit/Copy special/Copy Move Tracks
Piste source : Mélodie
Action : Copy selected channels to Drums.
Pour sauvegarder cette édition de la partie Batterie, il faut geler la piste Batterie.
Avantage : la partie tambourin est fusionnée avec la partie batterie
Inconvénient : la partie batterie étant gelée, elle n'est pas regénérée à chaque lecture.
Evidemment cette solution ne fonctionne que pour une partie Batterie en MIDI et non pour une partie Realdrums.
Cocher : Merge with existing data on track.

Merci beaucoup pour ta réponse John-Luke, je n'y connais absolument rien en Midi et j'aurais pu chercher encore longtemps sans ce que vous m'avez conseillé toi et Monk_Monk !
J'ai édité la piste soliste en mettant avant la valeur 10 pour le canal puis j'ai utilisé le kit batterie pour une mesure avant de faire un copier-coller... et ça marche !!!
En fait jusqu'à présent j'utilisais BIAB pour rentrer des grilles de jazz sans aller plus loin. Avec la version 2018 je fais de plus en plus d'accompagnements dans tous les styles pour des élèves (je suis prof de basse et de contrebasse) et donc j'ai besoin de mieux connaitre BIAB.
Prochains objectifs: apprendre à créer des boucles, savoir utiliser Style Maker et changer le nom de la percu dans la notation.

With Band-in-a-Box® 2026, we've released 202 incredible new RealTracks (in sets 468-488) in a variety of genres—featuring your most requested styles!
Jazz, Funk & World (Sets 468-475):
Our new jazz, funk & blues RealTracks include a groovin’ collection of RealTracks and RealDrums! These include more requested “soul jazz” RealTracks featuring artists Neil Swainson (bass), Charles Treadway (organ), Brent Mason (guitar), and Wes Little (drums).
