Does BIAB have a midi driver for the Roland Sonic Cell synth module? Has anyone used this hardware synth along with BIAB? I am looking to upgrade my BIAB performing setup. I am looking at new hardware synth modules to perform using BIAB. Any suggestions are welcome. I have been performing live Jazz with BIAB for quite sometime and would like to communicate with others who are doing the same.

Yes, several on this forum have the Roland Sonic Cell. The driver would come on a CD with the unit, so I assume you mean the patch map to access the sounds in BIAB. There is already a BIAB patch map for it, here: http://www.pgmusic.com/support_miscellaneous.htmI don't have this unit, since I have a Roland Fantom XR, but reviews have been excellent. The Roland video prior to its release a year or so ago was amazing. Jazzman, a member on this forum, is a great resource for that unit.

Matt, I've go a roland xv-88 kb, do you know if any of the other patch maps will work for it? I saw an ini file for the PT's but don't know enough to understand if this can be used or renamed .pat or how to use what is on the patch map page for the xv 88.
I was thinking of getting the sonic cell as it seems to have the upgraded quality of sounds that the old xv 88 does not and I could use the Sonic cell as that upgrade as well as all the other features the cell has.

Biab will convert .ini to .pat.
Same spot in Biab for the .pat maker.
