Hi all,

Although my initial excitement about the new 64 bit version and the VST is sort of on hold until some of the kinks in those are worked out, the truth is, for me the quality of the new RealTracks merits upgrading to BIAB 2019 at the discounted price, so long as the 32 bit version works ok. I am ok continuing in 32 bit as I have, if I must, and the VST actually means little to me, as I find the drag and drop export method works just fine. I've been having fun in 32 bit for a few years now, I can continue to do so a while longer with these new RealTracks.

My question then is, is the 32 bit version basically stable and fine, for the purposes of being able to do everything you can in BIAB 2018, with the bonus of the new RealTracks? I really don't want to pull the trigger on something which leaves me worse off than I am with BIAB 2018.

BTW: One must-have feature for me is the ability to use the Import Audio function, which I've heard is at the moment at least a bit erratic in the 64 bit version. Is it ok in thne 32 bit version?

I don't know about the import audio function.

I have used 32-bit and 64-bit 2019 for three weeks now and I think it's solid. Today, the new patch fixed one problem suffered by a few users of the 64-bit version.

lingyai,

Like Matt, I've used both versions without too much trouble.

From reading the forums, those that have had problems with BIAB64 have often found BIAB32 is ok. The latest build, #608, also has solved a number of problems that some users were experiencing.

I just imported and audio file into BIAB 32-bit (build #608), then opened it using the Audio Chord Wizard and finally transferred the chords back to BIAB. All went without hitch.

Regards,
Noel

32 has always been fine with me. I haven't tried the import audio function though.

Everything in 64 now is working for me that I tried except when I add my PreSonus AudioBox 22 VSL into the mix I still have the distortion and static. Tried every setting I could to get the AudioBox to work and ... no ... it did not want to.

I agree with the folks up above me here we’ll sort of above ... er you know what I mean. 32 bit was rock solid out of the gate 64 was kind of iffy but on the last patch it is sailing along now. If now that crazy old plugin would work right I’d be silly with enthusiasm.

Some think I’m silly to start with but who’s counting. I mean after all it’s really rharvs fault and if I’m not careful Matt will minus me again.
