Hi all I have been lurking here for a good while now, and thought it was time I posted. Here is the first song I have written. Its done in Band in a Box, virtual instrumentation under cubase rewired to reason, and then mixed in logic and mastered in logic using the ozone plugin. Alto sax is by myself and guitar solo is by a frined of mine. White Sands

Very nice and relaxing to listen to. Liked it a lot, even though Im not a jazzer. However the bass was a bit dominant in my speakers. IMO a bit more variation would perfectionize the tune . Why not let this smooth sax go bananas for a short while ;-)

Cheers for the listens and comments
I will mix the track again and drop the bass a little.
Im in the middle of putting together a CD (have been at it 9 months now) I have written 12 tracks, this being the first.
Its nice to get some possitive feed back, about the actual song IE not the playing, midi sequencing etc
If nobody minds I will post the other tracks as they near completion.

Adrian, this is VERY GOOD!
I have to agree that the bass is a tad too loud.
Great sax man!
Tell your friend he nailed the guitar part.

Adrian, You wrote a beautiful song !!! I love the Sax as the lead instrument on this. You did an awesome job recording it as well, very clean sounding. Writing a song is a gift and you sure did one heck of a job with it. Thanks for sharing it with us. I also enjoyed the Nylon Guitar solo as well, very nicely done !!! Welcome to the PG Family  Trax

Thanks for all the positive comments, Its great to get such a warm response as Im new around here.
I have remixed the track and lowered the bass and I will pass on the good comments to my friend on his work on the guitar solo.
