Hello, I have been getting the following error message when trying to simply play a composition...  Any Ideas? Star Adrael

This might have to do with the chosen MIDI output synth device or soundcard and a bit gone bump in the night or the like. No, I don't know for certain that is the thing, but am remembering getting a message similar to that one at the same time, after pressing Play.
Try doing the exact same thing the exact same way with the pgmusic demo song files to make certain you aren't dealing with corrupted song files.
If it is reproducible, first thing I'd try is Opts -> Return to Factory Settings command, button number 2, which resets everything including your soundcard/MIDI selections.

I reset to factory, and tried a different song file. worked for a little while, then the program crashed again. I'm running a Quad Core CPU with 4GB of ram and Windows 7 Pro. I also cannot get Bandstand (native Instruments) working. I uninstalled all traces of it incase it was causing problems, but didnt help. Also get this error with a different number...

Hi Bassman, At the time of my replying, the S.O.S. --- Win 7/64 post is the eighth post down from this one, in this same forum. Here is the link... SOS(Win7/64) It's possible to find all posts from a specific person. To do this, click on the person's onscreen name, in the left column of the forum, and then choose "Show all user's posts". I had the same problem after downloading from the external hard drive. After two days of fighting the access error message I opened a new folder and down loaded to it.
My problem was a corrupted file somewhere and I never found it. I transferred my personal song files and deleted the old bb folder. I have been running fine ever since.
I am running Vista 32.
