Hi,
Ive been reading some websites on the equipment needed that hooks your guitar into your computer for mixing down tracks.
Do any of you know some good products out there?
6 strings. 24 frets. An infinite amount of possibilities.

wow. guitar to pc, also 1000000000000000000000 possibilities. What equipment are you starting with? What type of computer, does it have a soundcard? if so, what type. Could be that all you need is a pre-amp. If no soundcard, there are lots of usb devices (several recent threads on these). You need to let us know about what you have to start with.

What type and kind of guitar and pickup would also be good to know before any recommendations made.
Also the style, type and genre of music you wish to record.

Well I have a strat that I play through a digitech rack for effects to a marshall but Idont want to mic the amp.
I dont have a sound card but I read that there are usb connecting hardware that amplifies normal levels and that some even come with software for tones and tweaks.
I was wondering which ones were best?
My style of play is anything, blues, rock, jazz, etc.

i favor the m-audio stuff like the fast track pro. Would be a good choice.

M-Audio Fast Track Pro USB
Tascam USB
Both are popular around here, I tend to prefer the M-Audio, others prefer the Tascam.
Both have good specs and have been known to work and play well with pgmusic products.
