I mean, really.
Five tuning pegs on the geetar, the sax looks like it has a basoon reed and mouthpipe coming out of it at the bidness end, I could go on.
I really liked the guy with the computer keyoard rockin' out...
Compared to this, anyway.

The keyboard guy had a certain Max Headroom elegance.

+1 for the logo
-1 for having music play when not wanted, unless there's an option to turn it off. Sorry, pet peeve of mine.

No musak.
Logos don't excite me. Very little is supposed to. Did you know to the hypertensive happiness is stress? Darn cardiologist. No stress and don't be happy. Jeez.
The gold embossed Band In A Box thing on the black hard drive looks cool though. Understated. My polar opposite. Spoken when the windchill is -30. Nice.
Now if the logo was a blonde..never mind....

+1000 on unrequested music.
Other than that, whatever logo PG wants is OK with me.
This has nothing to do with the PG logo, but a lot to do with unrequested music.
I often listen to music while surfing the net. Mostly instrumental since I will be reading words (classical or jazz). When I get to one of those web sites that start blaring music at me, I simply click the little X and get rid of them as soon as I can.

I'm just jesting, folks.
By now everyone should know that I could care what the logo has on it, as long as it isn't outwardly bizarre or X-rated or something.
That's Keith Richard's guitar, that's all.
And the wind instrument must be the rare Basoonophone.
The other day I observed a store window "artist" busily painting musical notes and staff on a display.
There were six lines on her staff.
Noteheads were forwards, ahead of the stem, and backwards.
Stems pointed upwards and downwards with wanton disregard.
No Time Signature, and that's a good thing, because there was a different number of fractional beats in each "measure".
She threw in a couple of sharp signs, but on the wrong sides of the noteheads. No Keysig over by the -- is that supposed to be a G clef?
How hard would it be to actually get a copy of a real XMAS carol and paint the first few bars?
So, I walked up and asked her.
"What is that?"
"It's music!"
"No its not..."

I don't know, Mac. Sounds to me like you might be poking a little fun at those who indignantly and angrily jump on the form over substance bandwagon. But, I could be wrong...
I don't have a problem when folks point out suggestions for improvement or find bugs and report them, etc. What drives me crazy is most of them seem to always be prefaced with, "I can't believe PGMusic did [whatever]...", or "this whole thing really sucks because [insert some trivial issue here]", or "I'm going to demand my money back because [something in notation doesn't work like Finale or Sibelius or...]", or "how in the world could they release this program when [they misspelled a word on the menu]", or, well, you get the idea.

My wife played oboe and bassoon. Explains a lot of things.
Most full time players go nutso. The part time ones are only part time nutso.

There was once a time, long ago now, when the double-reed players actually bit the reeds between their teeth rather than padding it with their lips.
The vibrations that ensued over time every day, traveling through their skulls, is said to have actually drove many of 'em mad.
The double-reed driven oboe. Also known as The Faggotte. No further comment.
I had an old prof who claimed that this was the reason the oboe became the instrument that the entire orchestra could tune to, for the poor oboist still had the note ringing around in his head. Or maybe they could recognize the right resonance, being "direct coupled" as it were...

I can't believe PG Music would create a logo that would have five tuning pegs on the geetar. This whole thing really sucks because the sax looks like it has a basoon reed and mouthpipe that kinda makes it look like a basoonophone. I think I'll demand my money back because of this crazy logo! How in the world could they release this program with a logo like that! WAAAAAAH! Okay, I couldn't help putting one and one together...

Danny, it's the one you see for a short enough time that you aren't really sure what's on it. That logo.
Cressjl, and JohnF, well done!

Whose to say that that geetar with five pegs is actually a 5 string bass?

Well, I'm not intentionally picking on either Mac or John--both are fine folk. I just couldn't help but laugh at the synthesis of the two posts! Lord knows I tend to whine some of the time...
