I'm seeing some strange behavior on the screen rendering when moving back and forth between monitors. I typically start on monitor 1, then edit stuff, then move to monitor 2 in order to play along with it (monitor 2 sits in front of my yamaha keyboard). then if I move it back to monitor 1 for more editing, the screen draw gets messed up. sometimes it will take on the background or whatever window is up behind it, the scroll bars no longer work and the measure bars get re-drawn with blanks if I move the cursor thru it using the arrow keys.
I have to close BIAB and restart it for it to stop behaving this way. then once I move between screens again, it's very reproducable.
I don't know how to report this as a possible bug - but does anyone else who has a similar set up to mine see this problem?
FYI: Pent Q6600 Quad core, 4G DDR2 Winxp pro SP3. 512M dedicated video card with dual heads. one of the monitors is a 22" 16:9 with DVI, the other is a 17 4:3 with analog converted from DVI (DVI on the output of the video card).

Hi, Beagle.
I have a setup similar to yours, which luckily is now working better with scaled windows. No scrambled screens lately, even when I move windows a lot. I didn't do any adjustments. It just straightened up and worked.
This has a frighteningly-cheap ATI 3450 video card with (#1) a 19" 1440x900 and (#2) a 17" same resolution, turned 90° to "portrait" orientation.
Maybe your trouble will just disappear. At first, my own windows looked odd and squiggly. I was convinced that scalings didn't persist. After a second Windows restart (cold boot), all was mysteriously well; I had to eat crow on the forum. But it was a good kind of crow, gnome sane?

Check your setting in Prefs/Display/Auto adjust number of rows. It helped clear up an issue on my system that seems to be similar to what you are seeing (although I am only running one monitor). My display got messed up when resizing and playing a song when the option was not checked. Good luck.

Barry, I have noticed that no matter how many rows you have set (or whether it's set to Auto) the scaled-down windows open messed up -- only when they first open, though. They appear with big fonts, and the chord sheet spills out of the small window. If you move any border of the window even 1 pixel with the mouse, the fonts snap down to size, and the number of rows goes sane again. I put in a wishlist item to repair this.
Changing number of lines to Auto on your advice helps this a good bit, but does not entirely clear it up. It does make it so much better, that I wanted to thank you for suggesting it.
I am nearly certain it has nothing to do with the fouled-up video Beagle is speaking of, though. In my case, that took the form of a lot of overlapping left-over blank windows, in a large screen area that didn't get re-drawn. Mouse also went wonky, and nothing would scroll.

Thanks guys. I had done a cold reboot before posting but the problem persists. I'll check into the rows per page, but I have doubts that will resolve it.

Give them a step-by-step of the problem.
Might also be good to include a URL to this thread along with it.

About once a month when I minimize the program I'm left with most of the keys for two rows stuck on the screen. If I open the program it fits over the keys and all is well, and if I shut it down it goes away. It is odd to see the keys there, but not to panic, its just a quirk, is it vista, the drivers or biab. Don't know.

mac - thanks. I'll write up a good explanation with pictures and send it to them.
